Dear Friend, While so much of what we're accomplishing together for animals—from stopping cruel and deadly experiments to bringing relief to lonely, chained "backyard dogs"—is achieved through PETA's headline-grabbing campaigns, many of our most precedent-setting achievements happen in a place that few will ever see: the courtroom. On Wednesday, March 25, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, we'll be hosting a special town hall meeting that will give you a behind-the-scenes look at how the largest and most effective legal team working for animal rights is making the world a more compassionate place for all beings. PETA Foundation Senior Vice President Jeff Kerr, Director of Captive Animal Law Enforcement Brittany Peet, and Deputy General Counsel Caitlin Hawks will be joining me for an in-depth conversation on the critical legal work for animals that your support is making possible. We encourage you to join us online, where we'll be sharing compelling images from PETA's recent legal work for animals. To participate in the webinar, simply log on to PETA.org/MarchTownHall at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on March 25 and you'll be able to watch the presentation through your web browser and submit your questions online. We'll send you a reminder e-mail shortly before the meeting begins. This town hall meeting is a terrific chance to learn more about one of the most important—and less often seen—parts of PETA's work for animals. I hope you'll be there! Kind regards, |
