John, I’m deeply concerned for the future of our state.

Thanks to a Republican supermajority in the state legislature, we’ve faced attacks on our rights and attempts to institute far-right extremist policies that would drag us backward. Republican legislators have passed a restrictive abortion ban, undermined our democracy with anti-voter legislation, and attacked our public education system.

And extremist Mark Robinson — the leading GOP candidate for governor — would only further advance this radical agenda if he wins this toss-up race.

I’ve spent much of my career serving North Carolina — trying to make it an even better place for folks to live, work, and raise a family. I have seen that we can make progress on the issues that matter when people are willing to put in the hard work and set politics aside.

That’s not how Mark Robinson would govern. That’s why we cannot allow him to win the Governor’s Office.
