We’re starting off the 2024 election year with some sobering news: CNN just updated their list of Senate seats most likely to flip in November– and Michigan is in the top ten. You can click here to read what they had to say about our race.

With Joe Manchin announcing his retirement at the end of 2023, Democrats’ margin became even smaller. And that means control of the U.S. Senate for the next two years will run right through Michigan, and our race.
Will you chip in whatever you can to help ensure we keep Michigan blue?

We have just ten months until Election Day, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. CNN’s update is another proof point in what Michiganders have known: Michigan is as swingy as it gets, and we know that in a swing state, sometimes you swing. Despite Democrats’ success in 2022, we know that Michigan will go red under the right conditions.
This open Senate seat gives Republicans one of their best shots at flipping a seat and taking back control of the Senate.
With a presidential election on the ballot as well, this election cycle is especially susceptible to that pendulum: The public polling released so far shows that not only is our race currently neck-and-neck with a large portion of voters undecided, but a potential match-up between President Biden and former President Trump is a dead-heat. That means we have not only one, but two tough races to win here in Michigan next year.
But those key, strategic decisions – like when we go up on TV and launch digital ads, where and when we invest in satellite offices around Michigan, and how we can expand our ground game – are completely guided by our ability to raise money early in the election year. This is why Elissa always says that the most important time to donate is now: Your support now, early on in the year, helps us be strategic and intentional about how we’re reaching voters – and ensures we’re having the critical conversations as early as possible.
In a race this tight, every dollar truly makes the difference, which is why we’re asking: Will you donate any amount now to set our campaign up for success in this race?
