John – now that we’re officially in 2024, all eyes are on battleground states like Arizona where key Senate seats will be in play.
But here’s the twist: Arizona isn’t your normal race. Last year, Senator Kyrsten Sinema betrayed the Democratic party and is now a registered Independent. Because of this, Democrat Ruben Gallego stepped up to the plate and announced his candidacy for this seat.
This creates a 3-way race between Sinema, Gallego, and MAGA Republican Kari Lake.
Democrat Ruben Gallego serves in the House and has been a proven progressive leader, fighting for affordable health care, raising the minimum wage, and restoring abortion rights nationwide.
Meanwhile, Kyrsten Sinema votes with Republicans on key issues. At a time where there’s a 50/50 split in the Senate, we cannot let her continue to block progressive legislation!
