Dear John,

Creating a world where children and youth can live with dignity, hope,
and joy is a community effort. And we are celebrating the way our
Children's Defense Fund (CDF) community came together during our
$50,000 50th Anniversary Match Fund at the end of 2023.

Your generosity created a firm foundation for 2024, which will allow
us to move forward on crucial initiatives for unleashing the joy in
growing up through education, family stability, early learning,
advocacy, and more.

I know you understand how important that is in these days when new
challenges are rising all around us. Black and Brown young people face
intense obstacles to fulfilling their dreams, and the next generation
is in jeopardy. It will take all of us, working steadily together, to
reverse the trends in our nation that are harming their futures.

Thank you for being an ally and advocate for our children and youth,
John, and for your partnership with Children's
Defense Fund. We could not be more grateful for you-today and
every day.

You are changing young lives!

P.S. If you didn't have a chance to make a gift toward the
year-end match fund, you can still make an impact for children and
youth across our nation by making a donation today. Thank you for
supporting the next generation!
