From all of us at MSF: Thank you |
Dear friend,
The Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) team and I want to wish you a very Happy New Year. I hope that 2024 finds you and your loved ones in good health.
We are still tallying our year-end fundraising returns, but I am in awe of the incredible outpouring of generosity from our global movement of supporters. Every dollar donated will allow us to be a lifeline for more patients and bring more communities from crisis to care. Thank you so much for powering this vital, lifesaving work.
We asked our staff around the world to record a few words of appreciation for generous donors like you, and to share what your donations are powering in their communities. Please take a moment to watch our message of gratitude from MSF staff on the ground.

2023 was a year filled with challenges that our teams rose to confront time and time again—from devastating natural disasters to the escalation of conflict in many of the countries where we work. Our financial independence allowed us to pivot resources at a moment’s notice and respond where the needs were greatest. Thanks to individuals like you, we were able to put patients’ needs first and continue to provide lifesaving care, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, or politics.
Each donation you made to MSF in 2023 was an investment in a better, healthier reality for millions of patients—a contribution to building a world where everyone can access the lifesaving medical care they need. Please know that your generosity, compassion, and care are making an enormous difference in the lives of our patients in over 70 countries around the world.
A gift from you could still make a lifesaving difference for our patients around the world. Please consider making your first gift of the year now >>

From violent conflict threatening civilian lives in Sudan, Palestine, and Ukraine, to rising rates of malnutrition in countries like Nigeria, to natural disasters we can’t predict—we know that the road ahead looks daunting. While we cannot foresee what 2024 will bring, donors like you are making it possible for MSF to stay prepared for the next crisis.
Once again, thank you for powering MSF’s lifesaving work.
Warmly,
Avril Benoît
