Friends, in a moment, I’m going to ask you to donate any amount to Tina Wyatt Younger’s campaign for VA State Senate ahead of the January 9th special election — but first, let me explain why:

Tina’s running to represent Virginia’s 9th Senate District and replace the retiring incumbent, and I’m thrilled to endorse her candidacy.

Tina is a dedicated community leader and activist, a mom, and a strong leader for the people of Virginia. She was elected to the South Boston Town Council in 2012, and served as Vice Mayor from 2018 to 2020. During her tenure serving South Boston, Tina focused on building up her community, securing funding for social services and education, and supporting small businesses.

I’m proud to call Tina a friend, and I know she’ll be a great addition to our Democratic caucus in the VA legislature — but she’s facing a tough fight and she needs resources to get out the vote before this special election.

So I have to ask: Can you pitch in any amount today to Tina’s campaign? I’ve seen what this team can do when we put our minds to it, and I know that together, we can send Tina Wyatt Younger straight to the VA Senate!
