Two years ago, President Biden & Congressional Democrats passed a $1 trillion infrastructure bill that aimed to generate funding for the improvement of transportation, housing, education, internet access, and healthcare nationwide. This legislation was drafted and spearheaded by Democrats, and its effects have seen overwhelming support.
Many Republicans who voted against the infrastructure bill are now bragging about what it accomplished — such as Senators Tommy Tuberville of Alabama, Tom Cotton of Arkansas & John Cornyn of Texas. People in their districts are directly benefiting from new projects financially supported by this bill, these senators want all the credit, despite not even supporting the bill.
In other words, they’re lying to their constituents and taking credit for the hard work Senate Democrats and President Biden have been putting in. Sign on now to call them out.
It’s time to hold these lying politicians accountable for their lies. They’re riding off Biden’s coattails and fraudulently laying claim to success they had no part in. It’s time we be transparent with the American public. All along, it’s been Democrats who are fighting for the bettering of our infrastructure.
