The climate crisis is a national and global emergency. To address the disastrous effects that climate change has wrought on our communities, we must take unprecedented action to restore justice and prevent an environmental catastrophe.

The Green New Deal would:
- Transition the U.S. to 100% renewable energy and achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions
- Create millions of new jobs in clean energy
- Ensure justice for communities on the front lines of the climate crisis
- Invest in public transportation, modern infrastructure, conservation, and public lands
- End the greed of the fossil fuel industry and hold them accountable
With the stakes of climate change rising higher and higher each year, we cannot afford to rely on slow, incremental progress – we must take bold, progressive action now.
