In the last few days of December, I reached out to ask for your support – and this team stepped up big time. Hundreds of people made donations in the final push before our FEC filing deadline, and I’m incredibly grateful.
Running for office is full of challenges and new experiences, and asking people to chip in their own hard-earned money to help me get elected is never easy. But every time I do, I am amazed at how many folks in this community dig deep and give whatever they can, whenever they can.
I’m so humbled by every one of your contributions. They allow my team to budget out our campaign efforts, hire staff on the ground, and get more people educated and involved in the electoral process and out to the polls.
That really matters – our democracy is at its best when the most people possible participate!
So thank you for everything you’ve done – whether you’ve donated $5 or $500, whether you’ve read every email or just opened them every now and then. It means so much.
The year ahead will be a tough one, and we have a lot of work to do to win in November, take back the House, and re-elect President Biden. But I’m confident that together, we can push through to victory.
