Provide your input at big game meetings ? just a few remain
You still have the opportunity to provide input on big game issues; several public information meetings remain on the calendar. But hurry, as these are the final sessions for this winter.
A virtual meeting will be held on Jan. 4 at 7 p.m.; registration is required. You can also attend an in-person meeting in Holdrege or McCook.?
Typically, the first half hour is an open house with time to talk with wildlife biologists, conservation officers and staff.?Biologists will also discuss big game harvest results and season structure, and take questions on topics such as big game management, depredation, permits, antlerless harvest and more.

Super Tag and multispecies lotteries now open?
The 2024 Super Tag and Multispecies Combo lotteries are now open ? offering a unique chance to hunt multiple big game species on one permit.

Hunting seasons still open in 2024
Don't put away your hunting gear yet; several seasons are open right now for hunters to take advantage of.
Upland bird seasons, including pheasant, quail, partridge and prairie grouse, will continue through Jan. 31. Various waterfowl seasons are also open, as well as a couple antlerless deer seasons; get details at the link below.?
