GOA Resolves to Repeal More Gun Control This Year!

Will you resolve to Take Action on all GOA alerts?

I want to wish you a Happy New Year and thank you for helping us make 2023 such an incredible success.

Because of GOA’s members, activists and contributors, we were able to generate multiple victories last year in the courts, in Congress and in state legislatures.

With so many victories under our belt, our New Year’s resolution here at GOA is to repeal even more gun control in 2024!

In brief, just some of the highlights included:

• GOA securing a preliminary injunction against the ATF Pistol Brace Rule.
• GOA members submitting a record 85,000-plus comments opposing the ATF’s Universal Registration Check Rule.
• GOA helping to enact permitless carry in two states (Nebraska & Florida).
• GOA fighting a lone battle and succeeding, in getting all gun control out of the annual national defense bill.
• GOA’s legal team filing dozens of lawsuits against anti-gun state and federal laws, and securing victories in California, Illinois, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
• GOA winning two legal victories against the ATF’s Zero Tolerance Policy, which would have led to the gun stores we defended losing their dealer licenses without intervention.
• GOA fighting to overturn Joe Biden’s ban on funding hunter education, shooting sports, and archery in schools.

Going forward, our first battle of 2024 involves defunding the ATF and stopping the Plastic Gun Ban from being permanently enacted.

So please add your name to our pre-written letter urging your Representative and two Senators to defund the ATF and stop the Plastic Gun Ban.

GOA’s New Year resolution is to repeal more gun control while defunding the ATF.

But in order to do that, we are going to need your help.
