Friends,

Given the public health crisis we are facing, we have decided to cancel our upcoming April 2 general meeting.

We hope you use the time that you would otherwise spend with 350 Fairfax to practice self-care: do yoga, prepare a meal, play a board game with your family or housemates, FaceTime your best friend, take an evening walk, meditate.

Just spend some time not thinking about Covid-19 and the way it has completely upended our lives in a matter of days.

We are waiting to see how things progress before we make a decision about our May 7 meeting. At this point it seems likely we will explore options for holding the meeting digitally so that all can join from home.

These are difficult times for sure, and we could probably all use some additional support and human connection. If you’re interested in forming a digital/informal Coronavirus and Climate Support Group, let us know by email and we will put something together.

We know that this pandemic and the resulting closures are more difficult for some in our community than for others. Find a list of local organizations offering assistance to Fairfax residents and currently taking donations of food and money here.
