Dear AFGE Members,
As we ring in the new year WFP is excited to bring you Issue 4 of The WFP Quarterly! Throughout the last quarter and all of 2023, WFP has continued to work hard for our AFGE members, locals, councils, and districts. This newest issue covers just the highlights and provides an overview of some of the goals we will be working towards in 2024!
|
In this issue, you’ll read:
- Celebrating Native American Heritage Month,
- Updates from our National Human Rights Committee, National Y.O.U.N.G. Committee, and other AFGE constituency groups to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within our union and on behalf of federal and DC government workers,
- Important information about how telework is not an automatic reasonable accommodation post COVID-19 and,
- Upcoming WFP events and trainings early on in 2024.
|
We hope that you enjoy reading this issue of The WFP Quarterly and find it informative, engaging, and inspiring to help us continue this important work. We welcome your feedback and suggestions on how we can continue to improve and better serve our members and readers.
In Solidarity,
Jeremy A. Lannan AFGE NVP for Women’s and Fair Practices
