Have you ever heard the phrase “women’s work,”
John?

It’s been used historically to describe (and diminish) the unpaid labor
that women take on in the home: childrearing, cleaning, cooking, etc.

Obviously, that’s sexist AF, and women shouldn’t be bearing the brunt of
running households and keeping society functioning.

And in 2024, we know that “women’s work” encompasses so much more than
traditional household duties. Here at Women’s March, our “women’s work”
includes the critical fight to protect our freedoms, support our families,
and create a feminist future for all.

Last spring, women across the nation raised hell to protect access to
medication abortion. That’s “women’s work.”

Last fall, women voted to secure wins for abortion access in ballot
measures across the  country. That’s “women’s work,” too.

Now, our work continues.

On the 20th, days before the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we march to shore
up our forces and take on the work ahead in the fight for reproductive
freedom. And we NEED you with us.
