In December, PIF partner National Immigration Law Center (NILC) shared a series of reports explaining different tools available to states to achieve Health for All – access to quality, affordable health coverage for all state residents, regardless of immigration status. NILC worked with state advocates to catalog field-tested tools, including PIF partners California Immigrant Policy Center, Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition, New York Immigration Coalition, Northwest Health Law Advocates, and Oregon Law Center.

An in-person mobilization will be held on January 9th, in Washington, DC to welcome Congress back and protest the horrific anti-immigrant provisions being considered as part of the foreign aid funding package.  Events include a rally and grassroots lobby day urging Senators to reject efforts to gut our asylum system, expand mandatory detention and jump start a fast-tracked deportation program.
