We wanted to reach out and update you about a leadership change here at IDCCA. Our President, Kristina Zahorik, has chosen to step down from her position, and today is her last day.[[link removed]] We are sad to see Kristina go, but are grateful for her service, and proud of what we were able to accomplish together. Taking office in November 2018, Kristina was the first woman elected President of the IDCCA and the 2nd longest serving President in the organization’s history. She led the IDCCA through a global pandemic where she was instrumental in helping County Parties rethink the way we turned out Democratic voters. Under her leadership, the IDCCA solidified itself as a trusted resource for our County Chairs, County Parties, sister organizations, and Democrats throughout Illinois.

Thank you Kristina for your years of dedicated service to the promotion of democracy, protecting Democratic values, and developing our organization.
