EARLY VOTING has started for the special election for the Senate District 9 seat left vacant after Senator Frank Ruff’s retirement.
Formerly District 15, the new Senate District 9 includes all of Pittsylvania, Halifax, Charlotte, Mecklenburg, Lunenburg, and Nottoway counties, most of Prince Edward county, and all of the City of Danville.
