Dear Friend,

I am a lifelong supporter and defender of Israel. 

I do so on moral grounds, because of our shared values and because she has many vicious enemies. In particular, I've found much of the mainstream press coverage of Israel to be appalling. It's often misleading, inaccurate, and just plain biased. 

Now, as Israel faces a desperate fight for its future, I’ve increasingly found myself turning to the outstanding and unique coverage of The New York Sun.

The Sun takes the side of right over popular. I consider the Sun to be one of Israel’s most ardent defenders in the American press. 

It’s for this reason that when I have something to say, I often turn to the Sun. They have carried a number of my columns since the attack on October 7th (I've written many). 

The voice of the Sun is precious and far too rare. I’ve been impressed by its impact and influence, but I know it is the David in this battle, facing many Goliaths. It’s a battle that the Sun must win and I have pledged my support.
