Friends, Biden reversed several key policies implemented by President Trump regarding aid to the Palestinians. Major funding was released in 2021 that may have directly enabled Hamas to carry out the 10/7 Sabbath Massacre!
Fulfilling a campaign promise, Biden authorized $290 million in assistance, which faced criticism for violating the Taylor Force Act which prohibits U.S. aid to the Palestinian Authority until it ends its pay-to-slay policy, providing stipends to terrorists and their families.
Over $3M is going to families of Hamas fighters responsible for the 10/7 Massacre and the Hamas war.
Newly released Palestinian terrorist convicts who were part of the 10/7 hostage swap held by Hamas are expected to receive U.S. funds through the Palestinian Authority!
The Palestinian Authority pays the salaries of imprisoned terrorists and the family members of the martyrs, and the amount comes to $300 million a year.
Every single terrorist arrested, convicted, and imprisoned receives a salary from the Palestinian Authority. A prisoner who serves more than five years in prison receives a monthly salary for life.
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) provides financial support to the Palestinian people “for various development and humanitarian projects”. Since 1994, the United States has provided more than $5.2 billion in aid to Palestinians through USAID.
Hamas leaders are worth over $11B! Palestinian Leader Mahmoud Abbas, the architect of the Munich Massacre, is worth $1.5 B!
The State Department justified the aid, stating that supporting a lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a core U.S. national security objective with the primary objective of promoting a two-state solution. However, concerns were raised about the risk of aiding terrorist groups, as internal documents from 2021 indicated State Department officials' strong apprehensions.
Only 17% of Palestinians support a two-state solution, the majority of which demand unfettered access to Israel as a condition, allowing for zero border security.
The resumption of support for UNRWA, with a contribution of $150 million, also stirred controversy. While the State Department argued that this funding serves U.S. interests and values, Israel expressed disappointment, asserting that UNRWA perpetuates the conflict. The Israeli ambassador to the U.S. emphasized the need for reforms within UNRWA, including addressing anti-Semitic content in its educational curriculum. The European Parliament and Norway have also criticized UNRWA for promoting hate and violence.
UNRWA Funding promotes extreme, violent Jew-hatred and denial of Israel’s right to exist.
The administration's commitment extended beyond direct financial assistance, with pledges of humanitarian aid for the West Bank and Gaza post-ceasefire, surpassing $360 million!
President Biden's visit to Israel in July 2022 resulted in an additional $200 million for UNRWA, bringing total U.S. assistance during his administration to over $618 million.
In Gaza, a staggering 82% live below the poverty line, with 64% facing food insecurity and half unemployed, including 64% of young adults. In comparison, poverty in the West Bank is at 14%. Shamefully, financial aid from the U.S. and the UN, is being siphoned off by extremists, perpetuating conflict rather than addressing the humanitarian needs of a populace that has no vision or desire for self-reliance.
The United States taxpayers have picked up the lion's share of financial aid to “Palestinians” since 1949 and it has only led to ever-increasing hatred and animosity of America, the West, and Israel as a reward.
Ninety-eight percent of the Arab Muslim settlers in the West Bank hate America, as do 96.8% of those in Gaza. [ [link removed] ]
The stark reality is that our financial aid has enriched extremist leaders, fueled catastrophic attacks on Israeli civilians, and nurtured new generations of terrorists. To avert further bloodshed, we must cease all financial aid immediately, holding our government accountable for the consequences of their actions.
