I’m writing to you from home. As you might already know, my campaign is operating on a strict work from home policy as the COVID-19 outbreak worsens. I know this period of social distancing will be a challenging time for many of us, but it’s critically important for protecting public health, and I thank you for taking these precautions seriously.
My life has been changed over the past couple of weeks. Our campaign is entirely digital, classes at Stony Brook University will be online for the remainder of the semester, and my daughter, who is in college, was sent home to complete her studies. And I know you are being touched by the outbreak, too.
