Friend, I hope you can spare a minute — and a few dollars. Here’s why:
Not only was 2023 the hottest year on record but Californians were also bombarded by atmospheric rivers and devastating flooding. It’s too late for incremental change.
EnviroVoters Ed Fund had an ambitious year-end fundraising goal to accelerate our work in building the power to solving the climate crisis, advancing justice, and creating a roadmap for global action.
My team just crunched the numbers, and unfortunately we are coming up a few gifts short. But there’s still time to ensure we have the resources to meet this moment.
California Environmental Voters Education Fund has EXTENDED our 2023 year-end fundraising deadline to midnight, tonight.
We missed our goal, but there’s still time to make a tax-deductible gift to support our proven efforts to tackle the climate crisis!

Our Education Fund had a truly successful 2023, friend.
We held our first Climate Implementation Accelerator event in the Central Valley to help local governments and community-based organizations competitively apply for new state and federal funding opportunities made available by legislation like the federal Inflation Reduction Act.
Our Ambassador Program launched its WE CAN: Water Equity and Clean Air Now campaign to bring justice to communities tackling the severe water and clean air inequities in the Central Valley and Inland Empire by putting youth at the forefront of the fight.
And we hosted California’s delegation at COP28 in Dubai, the United Nations’ annual climate conference, where countries like Canada and the UK were seeking us out to learn more about our climate disclosure laws SB 253 and SB 261.
But we need to keep up the momentum. We missed our 2023 fundraising goal and need your support now more than ever. Before midnight, please make a tax-deductible donation to keep us on track to keep pushing California to lead on climate in 2024.
With your help, our influence can continue to be felt across the globe.
Thank you for caring about our environment and our planet.

California Environmental Voters Education Fund (EnviroVoters Ed Fund) believes the climate crisis is here and this moment requires transformative change. EnviroVoters Ed Fund fights for equity and justice for all Californians, from voting rights to clean air and water. We work together to make government, policy, and voting accessible by conducting public opinion research, shaping the public narrative, organizing with allies and local communities, and educating legislators on pressing environmental issues. We won’t stop until we have resilient, healthy, thriving communities, and a democracy and economy that is just and sustainable for all.
