Social Dances

Dance the night away or listen to some fabulous music at our social dance! Open to seniors 55 and over; membership is not required. Invite your friends to join you for an evening out!

Soups & Socks

Help warm the feet of seniors and veterans in need by bringing a pair of new socks (men or women sizes) to be distributed through MHMR of Tarrant County and area nursing care facilities. Complimentary soup, cornbread, and dessert provided to all sock contributors.

Welcome to the "New Year, New Habits" January Wellness Challenge at the Hurst Recreation Center! Are you ready to kickstart your journey towards a healthier and happier you? This challenge will help you establish new, positive habits in 21 days that will set the tone for a fantastic year ahead.

How it works:
✅ Sign up at the Hurst Recreation Center.
✅ Check-in 21 days throughout January with our Guest Services team, who will mark your attendance.
✅ Every participant who has been to the Recreation Center for 21 days in January can win one of five gift cards!

Daddy Daughter Dance

The City of Hurst's Daddy Daughter Dance is an evening full of dancing, photos, dinner, and activities that will make your daughter feel like the princess she is! And it just so happens that this year's theme is "Dancing Queen," a groovy combination that will create lasting memories for you and your little girl. We invite girls ages 3-14 to attend with their fathers or male guardians. The event is at the Hurst Senior Activities Center on February 3, 2024 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Get your tickets online at dancingqueen.eventbrite.com.
