On February 24, 1943, America’s 392nd Bombardment Group sent thirty-two B-24 Liberator bombers to destroy Nazi war production at Gotha, Germany. Surviving hours of attacks by enemy aircraft, they kept their formation and struck Hitler’s war machine. **Those B-24 Liberators – they were built by Oklahomans in Tulsa.**



Two months later, President Roosevelt and Oklahoma Governor Robert Kerr visited Tulsa’s Douglas Aircraft Plant where the B-24s were built. **That plant employed 23,000 Oklahomans. Roosevelt called it an Arsenal of Democracy.** It was central to the growth of Tulsa’s aeronautical industry.



Roosevelt took us to victory over fascism. Kerr became a U.S. Senator. Kerr’s vision of building Oklahoma resulted in the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System – a waterway from the Tulsa Port of Catoosa to the Mississippi River. **Their vision protected democracy and built our state.**



**Oklahoma is standing at a crossroads.** In one direction is democracy and industry. **I’m running for Congress in Oklahoma’s First District to take us in the direction of Roosevelt and Kerr. I’m running to move our country forward.**



In the other direction is MAGA Rep. Kevin Hern standing with Donald Trump. **On December 7th, on the anniversary of Pearl Harbor, Hern endorsed Trump for President. Hern turned his back on Oklahoma and cast his lot with Trump and his efforts to overthrow America’s democracy.** We know where they will take us. We’ve been there. We’ve seen their vision – extremism, chaos, and a country divided.



**We are at a crossroads. On November 5, 2024, we will decide.** I’m asking you to reject cynicism and hate. **I’m asking you to help take this country in a new direction.** Leaders like Roosevelt, Kerr, and Kennedy set us on the path to the Moon. **Our vision for America is just as big and we won’t leave Oklahoma behind.** We look to the stars. We see Mars.
