At a time of national crisis – coronavirus, stock market chaos, unaffordable health care, climate change – Trump is more worried about his billionaire buddies.
He's actually talking about providing a taxpayer-funded bailout to the likes of fossil fuel baron and Trump supporter Harold Hamm.¹ That's ridiculous, and we need your help to put a stop to it now.
Raise your voice and tell your member of Congress that taxpayer funding shouldn't be used to bail out billionaires!

Taxpayers shouldn't be on the hook for the flawed business model and reckless decision-making of the fossil fuel industry. We’ve known for a while that shale drillers in particular can’t break even if they slow the pace of drilling and fracking. That’s called a bad investment.
Everyday people, on the other hand, could use some help. Under Trump, we’ve seen budgets slashed for things like disease prevention, scientific research, environmental enforcement and supplemental food assistance. Those things are a lot more important than propping up fossil fuels.
Congress needs to hear from all of us that bailing out reckless dirty energy companies is unacceptable – and at a time like this, it should be unthinkable.
Remind Congress of all the places our money SHOULD be going instead of into the pockets of fossil fuel executives.
