Senator Deb Fischer just drew a new independent challenger in her campaign for re-election to the United States Senate.
This challenger would be devastatingly destructive for the People of Nebraska and as a national leader in the United States Senate. He identifies as an independent but would vote with the Democrats nearly all the time.
And in a new shocking poll, he is only down two percent on Senator Fischer. That is WAY too close for comfort. We can’t let this critical incumbent lose to an independent challenger and political rabble-rouser.
Because this election will be closer than people think, it will be a competitive race, and we can’t get caught unprepared and up against an outsider with momentum on his side. We’ve got to get out ahead and stay ahead in this race to win.
I know Senator Fischer will do her part. She will travel the state, deploy her teams, and reach voters in every way possible. She will work hard to spread her conservative message and rally voters around her novel ideas for our future.
