Friends and Comrades- We hope the new year is finding you well. At our year-end potluck on Saturday, we were struck by how powerful our collective will to keep working to make Santa Fe a more humane and livable place for all people has manifested. We have had an important year where we've shown what we can do when we work with common vision and center healthy community. Let's keep that energy going into 2024!

Congrats to Alma!

On Friday, our comrade Alma was officially sworn in as one of Santa Fe's City Councilors! In her speech she movingly spoke to what it means to have deep roots in the community as someone with both Spanish and Indigenous heritage by adapting parts of Rodolfo "Corky" Gonzales' poem "I Am Joaquin." May her time on the Council be a fruitful one for all of Santa Fe's working class!?

Trans Rights and Bodily Autonomy Campaign?

Would you like to help with an upcoming Trans Rights and Bodily Autonomy Campaign? DSA National is working in 2024 to fight for bodily autonomy for all people, with a special focus on trans and reproductive rights. If you'd be interested in working on this important effort, please email us at [email protected].

DSA depends on support from ordinary members, rather than corporate funding or grants. As we ramp up our campaigns to take on the millionaire and billionaire class in New Mexico, any donations you can provide will go a long way.
