Happy New Year, from all of us at Special Olympics!

My heart is incredibly full today. I wanted to reach out to say THANK YOU for being a part of our one-of-a-kind Special Olympics family. You helped make 2023 one of the most successful in the 55-year history of our organization, and you stepped up during our recent giving season to ensure that 2024 will be even better!

We are SO excited to get to work this year delivering the inclusive games, competitions, events, community, and life-changing opportunities that supporters like you make possible with your commitment to our mission.

Athletes with intellectual disabilities (ID) in your hometown and all over the world will be able to access the power of sports and the magic of the Special Olympics community. You will help make 2024 a year of FIRSTS for so many more brave, extraordinary athletes, so thank you from the bottom of my heart!

We’ll never stop fighting for a world where every single person – regardless of ability or background or where they’re from – has the chance to get in the game and become their very BEST self. And we’ll never be able to say thank you enough to our Special Olympics family for everything you do to change athletes’ lives. 

You’re the beating heart of our inclusion movement, and I can’t wait to see the impact we’ll make together in 2024. Here’s to a year of firsts!
