Hey Friend!

I just sent the email below to the folks who supported The Trevor Project’s Be the One campaign to help LGBTQ+ young people who need supportive adults in their lives. I know you’re an ally, too. And it’s always the right time to offer LGBTQ+ young people the affirmation, connection, and hope they may not receive from their families and communities. So, please start 2024 on a loving, life-saving note with a contribution to The Trevor Project.

Take good care and thanks in advance!

THANK YOU! Your generosity will help build a better world for LGBTQ+ young people in 2024

Happy New Year, Friend of Trevor!

It can be hard to look at the world today. But my heart fills up when I think of all the ways The Trevor Project community shows up for LGBTQ+ young people:

Trained volunteer counselors and staff provide free, secure suicide prevention and crisis intervention services 24/7/365
Advocacy team members stop harmful state bills from becoming laws
Researchers ensure that scientific findings inform LGBTQ+-affirming laws and policies
Trainers and educators equip supportive adults with resources to better serve the LGBTQ+ young people in their care
TrevorSpace facilitators support our safe space social networking site, where LGBTQ+ young people in 100+ countries find community

And that list wouldn’t be complete without YOU and every bright star in Trevor’s Circle of Light donor community. Your recent gift is making a life-saving difference for LGBTQ+ young people!

It’s going to take all of us to ensure that every LGBTQ+ young person knows that they’re loved, their lives have value, and they’re never alone. But change starts with one person. So, thank you for being the one to commit to building a more affirming, safe, and welcoming world.

May peace, strength, and grace carry you through 2024,

Thank you again for your generosity! Another way to show your support is by writing a message of hope and encouragement to an LGBTQ+ young person.
