Happy New Year, Friends!

I always wake up feeling rather hopeful on the first day of the new year. I know it's just a date on a calendar, and I'm not big on "Resolutions" that correspond with that. I'm more of a believer that when you decide to make a change, you just make it, whether it's January 1st, or June 26th, or October 2nd.

But when I break out my new calendar, and I think about the year behind me and the year ahead of me, I want to fill that calendar with good things. I want to write down great memories and create new special dates. I want to do better.

This year, my personal focuses are fixing my finances (I took some HUGE hits the last few years, what with the website getting defunded and some horrible personal expenses that ate through my emergency fund like an acid spill) and fixing my ankle. Businesswise, I want to offer you, my friends are readers, more of what you want and need. I want to keep you informed and keep you motivated and make your lives better in any way that I can.

Between my websites, TheOrganicPrepper.com and TheFrugalite.com, I hope to do just that, along with our fantastic and talented team of writers.

I've got a big procedure scheduled on my ankle at the end of January, which, I pray, will finally get my back on my feet. I will never take walking for granted again!

I'm also taking steps to earn more money, and you'll see my name pop up in some magazines this year. I'm also working to reduce my expenses but I intend to live a happy, satisfying, creative life while doing so.

Over on The Frug, we have the very best ideas for this. Our motto there is Live LARGE on a Tiny Budget. If you are looking for ways to feed your family when you're flat broke, to keep the kids happy and entertained for pennies, to manage big expenses, and to pay off debt, you'll want to check out our
2023 Frugal Living Yearbook. It's absolutely jam-packed with 150+ creative ideas for all this and more.

But it's not like the other frugality content.

We're optimists. We believe in joy. We believe in living your life, even when the money isn't pouring in. You don't have to be miserable to get your finances on track. Heck, if you're miserable, you won't stick with your plan. And frankly, life is too short for that. You need to LIVE.

Today is the last day that we'll be offering "name your price" on the yearbook. You can grab it for as low as $2 if times are tight.

And if times are good?

Well, this is your chance to help us out by making a donation and getting this awesome PDF in return. You can put down any price you want for it, and rest assured that your purchase will go to good use, paying writers and overhead for these websites. We don't have the ad revenue we used to have, and we are now about 90% funded by you, the readers. Any help you can give is essential.

Simply go here, type in the amount you'd like to pay, and add it to the cart. Every penny helps us keep the lights on.

Thank you so much for being part of my life. Being surrounded by a community like this means everything to me. I am so fortunate to be included in your lives. I feel deeply blessed and honored to have this connection with you.

I hope that 2024 brings you everything you've been dreaming of. I hope it brings you success, I hope you're surrounded by love, and I hope you feel peace and contentment.

Love,
Daisy
