In 2024, we are gearing up for an even more transformative year. Our commitment to making Maryland a place where all working families can thrive remains unwavering. We have exciting initiatives and programs in the pipeline that will address pressing issues and bring about positive change. Our goal is not just to meet expectations but to exceed them, building on the lessons learned from the past year.
As we approach the legislative session, we are more determined than ever to turn disappointments into opportunities for progress. We have a comprehensive list of legislative priorities that aim to hold elected officials accountable and align with our mission. Your support and advocacy is crucial, so mark your calendars for our 2024 Power Summit on February 10th, where we'll present our agenda to key leaders.
Last year, our work in housing justice, environmental justice, healthcare justice, project labor agreements, and opportunities for residents returning from incarceration and black workers gained momentum. We are eager to build on these strides and offer numerous opportunities for you to get involved. Your participation will play a pivotal role in driving positive change in these critical areas. Together, we have the power to shape the future of Maryland and create a better, more inclusive community for all.
