Friends, I want to wish you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!

For many, this year hasn’t been an easy one. There is much turmoil around the world, and I know that we all endure our own personal hardships day in and day out.

As we count down to the end of 2023 and the start of a brand new year, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you’ve done to support me. Some of you have been on this team helping build up our work for nearly 30 years — since my 1994 race for Richmond City Council, which I won by less than 100 votes!

Since then, we’ve accomplished so much together. Just over the past couple of years, we’ve made historic strides to create that more perfect Union that we all believe is possible. But we have so much left to do — and the stakes here in the U.S. and around the world are only getting higher.

If you’re able to pitch in any amount to my campaign in these final hours before our last FEC deadline of the year, it would mean so much to me to have your backing. We’re within reach of our $68,000 grassroots goal, so your donation could be the one to get us across the finish line.
