We are only a few hours away from what could be the most important fundraising deadline of this campaign. In a moment I’m going to ask you to make a donation to my re-election campaign. But first let me explain why.
Anti-Palestinian group AIPAC has pledged to spend $100 million in an attempt to defeat me and other members of Congress who have joined our calls for a permanent ceasefire.
Multiple people running for U.S. Senate and other Congressional seats in Michigan have said they’ve been offered between $10 and $20 million to run against me.
As the only Palestinian American in Congress, I will not be bullied. This attempt to intimidate me will never silence me in saving as many lives as possible, no matter faith or ethnicity.
With powerful forces seeking to defeat us, I need your support now―before midnight tonight―to show the power of our grassroots movement for change.

It shouldn’t be controversial to say: Stop the killing! Let’s save lives! But rather than work for a ceasefire, rather than acknowledge the humanity of Palestinians or stop the genocide, our elected leaders are supporting more violence.
Recently, Congress approved a record-breaking $886 billion military budget to fund bombs, weapons, and war crimes.
I voted against this massively wasteful budget for war and destruction, which was the largest military budget in the history of our country. This budget is impossible to justify when our neighbors are struggling to put food on the table, fighting to keep a roof over their heads, and rationing their medication.
We must divest from endless war and death. My residents sent me to Congress to invest in life. I will continue to advocate for marginalized communities and working families, for peace and diplomacy, and for freedom and dignity for all people.
After tonight, we will file an end-of-year financial report with the Federal Election Commission. It will show how much money we’ve raised and spent and how much cash on hand we have for the fight ahead.

I will never stop fighting for the human rights of all people, even if my voice shakes.
As political powers seek to silence us, I know you are by my side as I urge my colleagues in Congress to recognize that Palestinians have a right to coexist with Israelis in their historic homeland, with equal rights and freedom―rather than under racial segregation or being subjected under Israeli apartheid to a military judicial system, separate from Israelis’ civilian legal system.
While we call for the release of all hostages and those arbitrarily detained, my colleagues’ failure to join us demonstrates their refusal to view Palestinians as equal human beings who deserve the same rights as Israelis.
Right now, there are only a handful of members of Congress who have joined the calls of a majority of Americans for a permanent ceasefire now. In response to our demands for human rights and an end to the dehumanizing system of apartheid, the anti-Palestinian group AIPAC has pledged to spend $100 million in an attempt to defeat me and other morally courageous elected officials.
