2023 was a year of record-setting crises. New York saw an all-time high of over 100,000 people in homeless shelters, the hottest year recorded, and record-breaking rent increases across New York.

Our collective future depends on each of us taking action and building an unstoppable movement for a livable New York and planet.

During the pandemic, we made sure that New York's ban on evictions was the longest-running in the country.
