Together, in 2023, we’ve accomplished so much ! We lifted up movement lawyers for crucial judgeships. We highlighted the dire need for diversity on 25 district court benches – all of which have only ever had white judges. We are pleased that thirteen of our priority nominees, those we call “phenominees” were finally confirmed to critical judicial seats this year. And just last week one of our priority nominees, Sara Hill -- who will be the first Native American woman to serve as a federal judge in OK -- was confirmed. With your support, we have made incredible progress. But there is so much more to be done.
