I wanted to send a quick note to personally remind you that there's still time to make 3x 5x the impact for refugee children and families this winter.

In crisis zones like Gaza, Ukraine and Afghanistan, the winter months bring cold temperatures and difficult weather that compound with ongoing conflict. Many families are living in damaged homes or have been forced to flee, leaving behind everything they own and rely on to keep warm.

As dire as the situation is right now, I am still looking toward the new year with hope. There are solutions to the problems refugees are facing and the IRC is ready to deliver even more medical care, safe shelter, warm winter clothes and more to children and families in the hardest-hit areas around the world.

It's natural to see the scale of the suffering in the world and wonder “What can I do?,” but I promise you: together we can make an incredible difference. Every gift matters. For the mother who is finally able to wrap her baby in a warm blanket, your generosity can mean everything. In the coming months, our goal is to reach as many families as possible with humanitarian aid.

There's still time to help power our emergency response, but your year-end gift can only be 3x 5x matched until midnight tonight. I hope you'll make one of your last actions of 2023 one of compassion, generosity and faith that we can make a positive impact.
