Now is about the time when campaigns begin sending their end of quarter emails, letting you know they have a goal they need to meet and asking for your help to meet it. Normally, we would also do just that. And we do still have a goal, of course: $12,000 before the end of the month. But the urgency for meeting our goals has just increased exponentially.

My opponent, Jason Smith, was one of only 40 Members of the House of Representatives (all Republicans, for the record) to vote against a well-crafted, bipartisan bill to provide necessary relief for the initial impact of the coronavirus pandemic as it spreads ever further into American life.
