Before 2023 ends, please consider a contribution to Children's Advocates for Change (CAFC).

At CAFC, we believe every child should have the necessary health care, educational opportunities, and economic resources to thrive.

Your contribution will help our efforts to close the racial wealth gap, raise the concerns and needs of Illinois children and families, and support advocacy training for young people in underserved communities.

Just a few of CAFC's many activities in 2023 included:

Advocating for the creation of an Illinois Child Tax Credit - an effort that will continue in 2024.
Training more than 40 Illinois youth in communications and advocacy skills.
Participating in a webinar on how telehealth can help meet the behavioral needs of K-12 students.
Joining with the Erikson Institute and IECAM (Illinois Early Childhood Asset Map) on an equity analysis of infant/early childhood mental health consultations.
Producing 102 Illinois county fact sheets looking at child poverty and housing costs.
