Help us reach every Syrian family and child who needs us.

Dear John,
The coronavirus crisis impacts us all. But, even in these difficult times we must be sure not to forget those who are already facing desperate conditions, and who could be hit the hardest, in places such as Syria.

The past three months have marked one of the deadliest surges of violence in Syria's nine-year war.

Nearly one million Syrians were forced to flee their homes. Those left behind live in fear. Children are showing deep signs of trauma, families have no homes.

Life-changing aid can't wait, John. And if you donate right now you can help us rush immediate support to families and children affected by the crisis in Syria and in crisis zones worldwide.

The Idlib province in northwest Syria continues to bear the brunt of this war – nearly half of its population has been displaced. That's why IRC teams are on the ground right now creating safe spaces for women and children, counseling and protecting refugees, and delivering life-saving trauma services at medical clinics.

If it holds, the recently announced ceasefire will help provide much needed relief for civilians. But millions are still struggling to survive and previous deals have been short lived.

Without critical resources and the support of people like you, we won't be able to reach the rising number of families and children who need us.

The need has never been more urgent, John. With your gift today, we can send hope and much-needed assistance to Syria's most vulnerable families and children. Please, don't wait. Make a donation now to help in crisis zones worldwide »

Sincerely,

Emily Martin
