John,
2023 was a busy year.
On the heels of the successful work we did to reform the Electoral Count Act, we enabled more cross-partisan collaboration on Capitol Hill, from promoting paid family leave policies to tackling the high-tech workforce shortage and reducing child poverty.
We’ve seen progress on these issues, but there’s still much work to be done. In the new year – our fourth calendar year of bipartisan work on Capitol Hill – we’ll be hitting the ground running.
That’s because when Congress returns in January, they’ll be immediately working to prevent a government shutdown. Key bipartisan policy projects of ours like the Child Tax Credit hang in the balance.
It’s moments of reflection like the end of the year that make us grateful for your support. Were it not for the backing of concerned citizens across America, 2023 would not have been as productive or bipartisan a year as we would have liked.
Our hope is that won’t be the case for 2024, either. There’s lots of work to be done, and we want to make sure that we can advocate for stronger families and a more prosperous American future.
We’ll be limited in doing that without your help. Can you rush a $10 donation before the end of 2023, so that we can do all that we’re capable of in the new year? [[link removed]]
As always, we’re grateful for whatever support you can provide.
Here’s to a productive year behind us and another one to come,
The Humanity Forward Team
