As 2023 comes to a close, I’m reflecting on what lies ahead for our campaign and this team.
Next year’s elections are as important as any election we have had. It’s not only a presidential election year; it is a year full of races across the country—including here in Texas—that will shape the future of our country. Our democracy is on the line. As are our fundamental freedoms. It’s all on the line.
From nearly shutting down the government to more threats to our reproductive freedoms, we have all seen this year the chaos, confusion, and cruelty that characterize the current Republican-controlled House. We can’t keep going this way. And we can only imagine what will happen if Donald Trump is successful in his effort to return to the White House. Each week we’ve seen how important it is that we take back the House, gain ground in the Senate, and hold on to the White House.
We’re working as hard as ever to do our part—from winning our election in #TX07 and supporting candidates on the ballot—and that means reaching the goals we set, including our final quarterly fundraising goal of the year.
