Hello John -- Jason here, Jo’s husband.
I am reaching out today after wrapping up a wonderful holiday with our family. With today being New Years Eve, I’m doing a bit of reflecting on 2023.
This year was huge for our family. Joanna and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary, and I still feel like I did that day: the luckiest guy in the world.
Last month, we celebrated our twins’ 20th birthdays! Here is a photo from their first Christmas, which feels both like yesterday and a lifetime ago.
But the biggest change in 2023 has been Joanna launching her campaign for Congress to keep CA-47 blue. Jo is inspiring, humble, principled, brave, hard-working, and selfless – watching her give her all to this campaign has solidified what I have always known.
So today, I wanted to give her a break from writing emails and reach out for your support personally. With 13 hours until her final FEC fundraising deadline of the year, will you chip in $3 to help support Joanna?
Like I said, Joanna is selfless. I watch her work day and night, on weekdays and weekends, in a herculean effort to keep CA-47 blue.
Jo never saw herself running for elected office one day. Her passion was in helping our Orange County community – from her pro bono law work to founding an organization to get more women involved in politics.
But once she realized this seat could fall into Republican hands, she sprung into action. She is answering the call to serve in a different way to protect our community from far-right extremism.
Take it from me (and I know I might be a little biased) – Joanna is the leader we need representing us in Washington. That’s why I am reaching out to make sure she meets this final fundraising goal of the year before midnight.
Will you chip in $3 right now? Jo refuses corporate PAC donations, so this campaign is truly by and for the people.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Thank you,
Jason
