Folks, I know I email a lot, but it’s been a bit since I reminded you of just who I am and why I’m in this race.
(And yes, I do have to ask for your support to meet our goal before our critical end of year deadline at the end — but I hope you’ll spare just a few moments of your time to read all the way.)
My name is Josh Stein.
I am a proud North Carolinian. I’m a husband, a father, and a public servant — currently serving as Attorney General of our state. And I am running for Governor of North Carolina to hold this office for Democrats and deliver for the people.
As Attorney General, during my time in the state legislature, and as a consumer protection lawyer, I’ve taken on big fights for the people of North Carolina — and won. I’ve fought to build safer communities, hold corporate wrongdoers accountable, make polluters pay for their messes, and defend everyone’s fundamental rights.
And we must keep fighting for our state. Because the bottom line is this: North Carolina is a great place to live — but extremist Republicans are plotting to drag us backward.
The polls show me in a dead heat, and the GOP thinks they can win by pouring in money from national right-wing groups.
We know this race will be a close one all the way through Election Day — statewide races in North Carolina always are. We can’t risk coming up short.
I’m personally asking you to make your first donation to our campaign before our last public filing deadline at midnight on December 31. Any amount you can pitch in would go a long way.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Thanks so much,
Josh Stein
