Now, on to the victories:



1) Shutting Down the Independent State Legislature Theory: Fringe lawmakers tried to give themselves nearly unchecked authority over federal elections. It was a blatant power grab. When the case came before the Supreme Court, we helped convene an overwhelming legal and public relations campaign that led to the rejection

of the baseless theory.



2) Securing Elections Against Fraudits: In 2020, election deniers used “fraudits

[link removed]

”— phony audits by partisan actors — to undermine public faith in our elections. The sham audits put a strain on election workers, put voter data at risk, and cost taxpayers millions of dollars. We partnered with states across the country to eliminate this kind of election sabotage, even helping Arizona rewrite its election manuals to prevent fraudits.



3) Protecting Election Workers: Election workers faced threats and harassment in the wake of the 2020 election. We documented how widespread the problem was and made recommendations for how the federal government could support them. Earlier this year, the Department of Homeland Security mandated

that states allocate funding toward election security.
