As we look ahead to the new year, I wanted to take a moment to share a quick summary of my work for San Antonio in 2023. It’s an honor to represent our city, and my top priority is making sure the government works for you.

Highlights of my work in 2023 include:

• Working to cap the cost of insulin and protect Social Security for seniors.
• Getting millions of dollars to fund reading and math tutoring in San Antonio schools.
• Working with the VA to help veterans get screened for new toxic exposure benefits that I helped pass as part of the Honoring Our PACT Act.
• Getting more than $500 million in federal grants for programs and services in San Antonio.
