It’s Nichole Johnson. I’m running Ruben’s campaign for Senate in Arizona.

Not sure if you saw my text yesterday, but Ruben and I are in the middle of making some difficult decisions right now. We need you to hear about them.

It’s no secret that we’re right up against our final FEC fundraising deadline of the year right now. When it hits in just a few hours we’re legally required to roll out our numbers for everyone to see.

But what that also means is that we’re about to make some of the most important — and difficult — decisions of the campaign.

We know millions of dollars in attack ads are coming our way. We know Kari Lake is lining up support across the GOP. And we know Kyrsten Sinema could jump in this race at any time.

What all that means is that we’re going to need to spend a ton of money to fight back. Unfortunately, we don’t have what we need in our campaign warchest right now. Tough but true.

So Ruben and I talked, and we decided we needed to give the green light anyway. But that means we have to raise our goals for this FEC deadline.

This is a risk. Make no mistake. But we’re betting on you, team. We’re betting that you’ll come through for us and help fill that budget gap.

And we hope you will — because our majority in the Senate is going to come down to this race.

So please, if you can, make your contribution to Ruben’s campaign right away. This is the most important deadline of the campaign, and we absolutely have to hit our goals.
