Throughout the past month, we’ve been reminding you that while we’ve seen unprecedented attacks on our community, we’ve also seen many successes.

This year, we worked with state and local organizations to fight over 500 anti-trans bills.

We brought trans veterans to Congress to tell their stories. We trained our allies on the Hill on how to defend us. We advocated to the Department of Education to allow trans youth the right to fully participate in sports. We banded together with partner organizations to defend trans healthcare, abortion access, and so much more.

The NCTE Action Fund, trans people, and our allies have fought back—and in many cases, we have won. Though the harm already done is inescapable, it is not irreparable. We’ve fought every single anti-trans law and policy at the state and federal level. We’ve spoken up at protests, marches, and press conferences to make sure our voices were heard. We’ve shown the world that trans people #WontBeErased.

We demonstrated this at the ballot box again this year as we watched anti-trans candidates lose again and again (and again). Throughout the country, voters came out in droves to TRANSform the Vote, preserving the rights of trans people. This set a clear precedent for every state and territory: if you come for our rights, we will fight back and we will win.

We will win because we are on the right side of history. With your donation, we will continue to challenge these extremists at every step. We will fight as if trans people’s lives depend on it.
