I am reaching out one last time this year to respectfully ask you to make a contribution to The Long Run.

Tonight at midnight, we face our final FEC fundraising deadline of the year, and before I get ready to celebrate New Year's Eve with my friends and family, I wanted to make sure you knew why my request is so important.

Earlier this week, my team and I reached out to you about our $9,000 fundraising goal and how we cannot afford to come up short. Why? Because when we close the books on our final FEC deadline of 2023, we are required by law to publicly report our fundraising numbers. This is our final chance to publicly report our progress and show the strength and vigor this movement has behind it before the election year.

This goal was a steep one — one I wasn’t sure we could reach when my team told me the number. But this team has defied the odds before and will continue to reach new heights as long as we stand together. And you all did just that.

It started with Ashok from San Jose giving $3. Then Terry from Burlington pitched in their $5. And Elliot from Milwauke added their $25 too. And now they are counting on you to join them.

So far, this team has already made a substantial impact in races across the country, but there is a lot more work to do and we cannot slow down. The stakes in 2024 are high, and these campaigns will need much more funding and support than ever before.

And that’s where we come in. Because if we have your support, we can help strengthen change-making candidates from the get-go, so they have the funding to invest in the most crucial parts of their campaign — whether that be organizing efforts, TV ads, GOTV, or rallies. And the more funding they have, the more voters they can engage.

So, our work is critical to the success of many campaigns and we cannot leave any stone unturned.

Before we reach our first FEC deadline at midnight tonight, I need to ask:
