When I know I'm going to get good news and bad news together, I always want to hear the bad news first. So I'll start with this: 2023 was another hard year for reproductive rights in America. Republicans, empowered by a rigged Supreme Court, have banned or severely restricted abortion in 21 states. Four other states have bans tied up in court. The urgency to elect women who will win us back our rights has never been higher.

But here's the good news: This is what EMILYs List was built for. This team has what it takes to fight back against anti-choice extremism everywhere. I know the struggle for fundamental rights is demoralizing and exhausting. Republicans are hoping the pro-choice majority is too demoralized and too exhausted to fight back. But suffice it to say: we're not.
