I know you’ve heard from me a few times these past couple of days. I hope you take it as a sign of just how important tonight’s FEC deadline is.

The truth is the majority of what we raise comes from me reaching out like this. I don’t take checks from PACs, and I try to spend as little time as possible on the phone or at events.

I know how lucky I am. I love this job, and the support I get from you and what we’ve built together is really special. Your contributions are the reason I can focus so much of my time and energy on the work that matters.
